Personal Training - The Personal Approach in Fitness for You -
Get in Shape
Drink water lots of it especially if exercising - Our bodies need between 1.5 to 2 litres of fluid a day, no not coke, energy drinks but pure clean water.
Move that body - Exercise not only gets us feeling better in shape but increases our metabolism and helps keep us lean, mean and healthy.
Have positive attitude - Remember what you think is what you are, a positive outlook equals a well balanced person and adds not only years to your life but you tend to have a much better lifestyle as well.
Have that well earned rest - recovery most important and plenty of sleep. All add to repairing our bodies, boosting our immune system and so on.
Eat good wholesome food, don't diet, lots of fruits, veggies, lean protein, eggs, nuts. Eat whole grain bread, dairy products, rice, pasta, and potatoes an hour before and an hour after exercise but limit them during the day, if you want a real lean ripped body. Remember our ancestors the caveman did not eat packaged and grain foods and they were never fat or obese.
Do lots of incidental exercise -That is things like take the stairs not the elevator unless you have to. Walk around to the next floor office to deliver message not text or email. Park the car a bit further away when shopping, well you get the picture. All adds up at end of the year to more calories or kilojoules burned.
Do some endurance training - Don't really like boring cardio but you can work aerobically using circuits, body weight etc. This goes hand in hand with resistance training (weights), increase the capillaries within the body which carry oxygen and needed nutrients to the working muscles also get the old heart healthy.
Do Resistance training - Ladies not too worry you won't get too big and muscley as you don't have enough of the male hormone testosterone to contend with. More toned, muscle you carry the more calories you burn at rest, need to lift that iron to keep lean.
Manage stress - Take time off, for your self, get the mind right and the body will respond - relax, relax.
Share your feelings - It's always good to talk about your problems get them out don't lock them up. But works the other way as well share your joy, laugh it's contagious and makes us all well. next page->
